What does it say about a person that she would establish a "Fun Committee" to help a congregation celebrate? How many congregations do you know that have a Fun Committee? "I just can't control my arm, it raises itself to volunteer." "She willed her body to science so she's still volunteering."
Kitty was one of a kind and the church was packed for her funeral today which doesn't often happen for a person in their 90s. A card with one of her favorite sayings was handed out at the service.
"Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as you ever can." John Wesley
It's not only a great quote it is the way Kitty lived. May God bless the inspiring memory of Kitty Anderson, good and faithful servant.
