Tropical fruit.

   One of  the pleasures of life in Thailand is the fruit.  So far I've eaten  banana, apple, mango, guava, tamarind, sapota, jackfruit, papaya, pineapple and others I couldn't identify.  They eat mangoes both green and ripe.  Green mangoes are as tart as eating raw rhubarb.  They slice it very thin and dip in in sugar.
