In Bangkok.

Asleep in his chair.
It's just a little food stall in an alley.  There is a primative kitchen and three tables two feet from vehicle traffic in the alley.  It's become my favorite place to eat in Bnagkok.  My lunch yesterday was chicken fried rice topped with a fried egg and a Coke.  It cost about $1.60.
About two blocks from the guesthouse a man lives on the street.  He has a lawn chair and a two wheeled cart he uses to pick up things he can sell; bottles, cardboard, etc.  He's been living there for years.  During the dry season the weather makes it fairly comfortable.  I've never been here during the rainy season so I don't know what he does then.

My favorite kitchen.
