The rain that graced the Twin Cities last weekend only brushed The Little House and environs. As this is typed it is raining though not much is expected. Given the significant shortfall of moisture lawns and grassy places are surprisingly green. Fall rains are very important for trees as they prepare for the freezing of winter. Certainly every little bit helps. Ideally there will be good soaking rains in a month when the bulk of the harvest is complete. Wishing is free so it's just as well wish for the ideal. Did you hear about the church that organized a prayer service for rain during a drought? Only one attendee brought an umbrella! 😄
Takk for alt,
Al
