Consistency

Every day there is an egret in the far corner of "my" pond. Wouldn't it do better in its hunt for frogs if it moved a bit one way or another? Or, is the hunting so good that there's no need to relocate? I'm surprised that it's August already! That's a sign that time doesn't drag for me. That egret is so regular and predictable that the first time it's missing I will assume autumn is here and he/she is headed south.
Egrets hunt their own territories but they roost in trees together at night. Likely there is safety in bunching together. Their frog hunting reminds me of the old frog pun. The frog said "My how much fun the time is when you're having flies." That one's been a long time coming. 😊
My Thai friends post pictures on Facebook from the new school with masks and social distancing. Were I to try to teach with students masked I'd be at a significant disadvantage. As my hearing has deteriorated lip reading has become increasingly important for understanding.  When I use my cell phone the sound comes directly through my hearing aids (Thank You! V.A.) The teachers were not keen on the move from the old building I'll have to ask if they like it now.
All's well in The Little House.

Takk for alt,

Al
