Breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinner...a rich day. The drive to SD tomorrow will be a welcome 'alone time' after a very 'people filled' day and week. But, how special it is to be with family, local friends, friends from our days in IA and former colleagues? Immersed in the presence of absence, NOT BUT i'M ALONE!
One very perceptive person, commenting on this blog said, "people don't talk about grief, but you do." Yes, let's talk about how it feels, what it's like, and especially about the ones who have died. Don't we owe to them to keep them alive in conversation? When I'm dead I hope I've made enough of an impression that people will talk about me. "Remember when Al said...?" "Remember the time that Al...?"
Life is good and I suppose that is why I miss Joanne so much!
