Weekend in Bangkok

Life in Ayutthaya is great except I do miss a bed.  Therefore, after school today (Friday) I came back to the Bangkok Christian Guesthouse for a couple of nights.  I haven't missed a/c at the house and Max even puts a little hot water in my shower bucket so the only inconvenience is sleeping on the floor.
There was a cool wind blowing out of China this morning and the Thai would have put on parkas if they had them.  By MN standards it was a bit chilly.  It's pretty dusty when the wind blows.
The Noble Academy students sent me a number of emails in response to my blog and the "I Spy" pictures that I've taking for them. I was really moved by the letters and they arrived on the day I was off from school so I had time to reply.  It is energizing to see their interest in my trip and I look forward to seeing them when I return.
Too much static about my previous shirt so here is real Thai!

Wat Klang students raising the Thai flag. (I Spy for Noble.)
A friend who teaches ESL put me on to a teaching method called Total Physical Response.  It's wonderful...I'm having a ball with it and the students love the activity.  Thai pedagogy is not very creative so it's probably a refreshing change.
