“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.”
— Yoko Ono
This is definitely a first for me, quoting Yoko Ono. 😊 When I first relocated to The Little House and was asked how long I planned to stay, I'd answer "Until the pandemic subsides." "You'll stay there in winter?" was the typical response, Well, why not, The Little House has a furnace. So far so good, though it was a very mild fall and beginning of winter. When "Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.”...will this be my experience? Shoveling my sidewalk a few times doesn't require perseverance. When temperatures dip below Zero? We'll see. Takk for alt,

The hunt complete, Trygve takes his rest.
