Lightening was steady to the northwest last night as I went to bed. Rain would be welcome now but it was not to be. Shades of my boyhood summers spent waiting for rain. The surplus moisture last year continues to feed the crops which have never looked better, at this juncture of the season, than they do this year. "The rain falls on the just and the unjust" and also doesn't fall on either sometimes.
Abandoning The Little House for a couple of nights, I'm staying with Lisa. This affords some family time...safely of course. It's fascinating to observe how, for many, life goes on as if there was not a threat. A brief stop at my condo convinced me that The Little House is indeed a better option for my safety. While I was in the condo building I was the only person I observed wearing a mask. Three times the elevator door opened as I waited for a ride. Three times the elevator car was occupied and none of the occupants were masked. After the third attempt I used the stairs. Three persons were in the garage, one a condo employee, again, no masks. One of the gifts of a condo is possible to lock it and leave it without worries.
So, life flows, I'm blessed and I'm grateful!
Takk for alt,
Al
